COMPACT ELECTRIC PIPE THREADING MACHINE

Application: The weight of an on-site compact pipe threading machine are usually from 50kgs to 200kgs, it can be moved by two man and installed in the construction site on pipe leg or wheel cart. This machine is popular used in the site for water pipe threading. In the US it is called pipe threader while in other region people call it pipe threading machine.

Feature: This machine usually comes with threading dies, cutting blade and reamer. It can make thread on the end of metal pipe, then cutting down the threaded pipe section with the pipe cutter and make chauffeuring on the inner side of pipe end. We need manually insert a steel pipe through the clamping chuck, tightening the front and rear chuck to make sure the machine hold the pipe tightly, then we adjust the opening distance of the chaser/teeth on the die head to fit different diameter tubes as well as the threading length, after we turn on the machine the machine will rotate the pipe automatically, in the meantime we have to manually swing the handle to let threading die head approaching the pipe.

Type: If we simply divide the threading machines into top high quality / medium quality / economic quality, then in this industry, the most famous brand are RIDGID, REX, ASADA, while some European brand are mostly getting OEM machine from other manufacturer in China. However, if we divide the machines by the motor types, there will be induction type and universal type. Here in China 95% pipe threader are made in induction motor because in the early time universal motor in China is not as stable as today. Sometimes, we got some motor burnt case when we face heavy load threading work, the universal motor speed is higher and when the loading are a little higher than the capacity it will lower the speed and will not break down easily, however as we know the universal motor has louder noise than induction motor and you need to replace carbon brush.

The machine are in higher precision than that of a traditional on site pipe threader, the threading teeth will be perfect and smooth. Within 3.9 seconds this machine can make one complete threads for diameter less than 50mm pipe,  the speed is 10 times compared with a traditional on-site pipe threader.
